During summer vacation, the City offers several camp options for children ranging in age from 3 to 16 years old.
Various camps are in session Monday, June 9 – Friday, August 8, 2008. All the camp schedules are listed below.
Registration Information
2008 Registration forms are available at City Hall or download one here (pdf). In order to view the file, you should download Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Completed forms and fees are required to hold your reservation. Once the camp reaches full capacity, a waiting list is formed.
Financial Assistance
Financial assistance with camp fees is available. To be considered for financial assistance, you must be a Sunny Isles Beach resident and your total household annual income must be less than $40,000. If you meet these requirements and are interested in applying, you must fill out an application (available at the Government Center or download here) and return, along with a copy of your 2007 IRS income tax return by April 25th to the Cultural & Human Services Department (Attn: Sylvia Flores).

Camp Tot Tot-Lot (3 and 4 year olds. Must be 3 years old as of 6/6/08)
Dates: Tuesday, June 10th, 2008 – Thursday, August 7th, 2008
Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9:00am – 12:00pm
Fees: $40/week (residents – forms must be brought in person to City Hall and proof of residency presented)
$55/week (non-residents)
$25 one-time registration fee
$45 one-time registration fee (non-residents)

Camp SIB (5 thru 10 year olds. Must be 5 years old as of 6/6/08)
Dates: Monday, June 9th, 2008 – Friday, August 8th, 2008
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (Before & After Care available for an additional cost)
Fees: $90/week (residents – forms must be brought in person to City Hall and proof of residency
presented)
$120/week (non-residents)
$25 one-time registration fee
$45 one-time registration fee (non-residents)

Camp Adventure (11 thru 15 year olds. Must be 11 years old as of 6/6/08)
Dates: Monday, June 9th, 2008 – Friday, August 8th, 2008
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (Before & After Care available for an additional cost)
Fees: $100/week (residents – forms must be brought in person to City Hall and proof of residency presented)
$130/week (non-residents)
$25 one-time registration fee

Junior Lifeguard Camp
Dates: Monday, July 7th, 2008 – Friday, July 11th, 2008 (Ages 6 -10)
Monday, July 21th, 2008 – Friday, July 25th, 2008 OR
Monday, July 28th, 2008 – Friday, August 1st, 2008 (Ages 11 - 16)
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30am – 4:30pm (Before & After Care available for an additional cost)
Fees: $90 (residents – forms must be brought in person to City Hall and proof of residency presented)
$125/week (non-residents)
