Where in the world is the Sunny Isles Beach Sun?

Perhaps on the Oasis of the Seas

Sunny Isles Beach residents of Le Cartier Pedro and Alicia Cuervo stand with Winston Tower residents Francisco and Norma Gonzalez showing off issues of the Sunny Isles Beach Sun Community Newspaper. They are all aboard the Oasis of the Seas posed next to the beautifully detailed carousel. Miguel De Dios also poses with the SIB Sun next to one of the exquisite horses on the carousel. Photos and cruise ship facts were provided by Carmen De Dios.

The Oasis of the Seas is the largest cruise ship sailing at this time. The ship weighs 225,282 gross tons and is 1,187 feet long and 208 feet wide. It stands 16 decks tall and features 7 “neighborhoods.” In addition to the carousel, amenities include 24 distinct dining options, 2 rock-climbing walls, 2 surfing venues and a zip-line across half the ship.

You too can appear in an issue of the paper. When you travel, take a copy of the Sunny Isles Beach Sun newspaper with you, pose with the paper in front of a landmark or with your group. Send the photo with the highlights of your trip to the address below. If you would like your original photograph returned, include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your correspondence.
